Jan 20, 2010 W@P's

The next 4 photos show books George created of samples from the classes he's been attending for the past couple of years in Washington state. (l2r - Jeannie, George, Tom & Phyllis.)

Phyllis has been successful in completing a number of her ufo's! (We were all a little envious!) (l2r - Tom, Phyllis, Polly & Jackie.)

Phyllis donated this baby quilt to the Guatemala Bound orphanage project. You can check out recent posts regarding this project at Bonnie's blog -

Last quilt by Phyllis.

Tina made this top for her nephew's quilt. (l2r - Phyllis, Polly, Jackie, Tina & Linda.)

Linda (right) has been busy! See the following 6 pics.

Dyed, discharged, batiked & stamped fabric.

Linda's beaded jewelry.

Shirts that Linda dyed, discharged, over-dyed, batiked & stamped.

Using remnants from another project, Elise appliqued interesting shapes to create this top.

Nancy models the coat she is redesigning for the Salvation Army "Transformed Treasures" project. (l2r - Jackie, Tina, Elise & Susan.)

Susan's new top of corner-square log cabin blocks that she & I sewed from her stash.

Linda dyed these antique linens for Jeannie.

Here's my creative endeavor - I used a photo from a summer trip to Jumbo Mine near Kennicott to make the label for wine we brewed at a local winery.

The rest of the photos are class samples of the teachers who will be here in March for the Alaska Fiber Festival. I hope you will check out all the Festival activities at I think it's going to be a GREAT festival!
